Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]September 1 (ANI): Over 36 Congress leaders, together with leaders of the Nationwide College students’ Union of India, the youth wing of the Congress social gathering, from numerous universities in Jammu have resigned in solidarity with Ghulam Nabi Azad, who lately introduced his departure from the massive outdated social gathering.
These resigning embody state vice-president Anirudh Raina and state secretary basic Manik Sharma, who resigned from fundamental membership of the NSUI.
The event comes shut on the heels of the mass resignation of the Congress social gathering’s Jammu and Kashmir unit in help of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
On Tuesday, 64 senior Congress leaders, together with former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Prime Minister Tara Chand, resigned from the social gathering in help of veteran chief Ghulam Nabi Azad.
In keeping with sources, the leaders have submitted their resignations to interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
NSUI-J&Ok unit basic secretary Manik Sharma mentioned in his resignation letter: “I help the resignation of Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Congress social gathering. I’m uninterested in cronyism within the social gathering. challenge within the social gathering. This is the reason now we have failed in 90 % of elections.”
Piyush Sharma President NSUI GDC Bilawer resigned together with 19 different NSUI members and mentioned, “I resign together with my group members in solidarity with our leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Manohar Sharma Ji.”
Azad resigned from all posts on Friday, immediately blaming Rahul Gandhi for his ‘immaturity’ and for destroying the social gathering’s consultative mechanism.
In a hard-hitting five-page notice to interim social gathering president Sonia Gandhi, Azad alleged {that a} cabal runs a celebration and that she was solely a nominal head. all vital choices are taken by Rahul Gandhi or worse, by his safety guards. (ANI)
